Four Person Shamble Golf
Tournament:
Nebraska's premier golf outing and social
fund raising event. It will always be held the weekend after Independence
Day. There are two categories that you can choose from. There is a
Pro-Am category and a All-Amateur category. The Pro-Am foursome will qualify
for the Pro-Am prizes and the All-Am will qualify for the All-Am prizes.
Only one Pro allowed in each foursome.
Lodging available at a discounted rate of $89 per night at the NEW
Holiday Inn (only blocks from the golf course.) To

Friday Night: Cocktail Party
for Sponsors: Sponsors are welcome to attend a cocktail
party with complimentary appetizers and beverages along with free instruction and demonstration
from GolfTEC of Omaha.

Saturday: 8am Shotgun Start
followed by lunch: 18 holes, cart, driving range, after meal
in the Wilderness Ridge Dining Hall. Post party with cash bar at a location
disclosed the day of the event.

Sunday "Break at the Lake" Social:
Registered golfers and the tournament sponsors should come and enjoy a casual and
relaxing day at the lake along with free instruction and demonstration
from GolfTEC of Omaha. A light casual lunch and
beverages will be provided. If you bring
your own beverages and coolers, do not bring glass containers of any
kind. Glass containers are NOT allowed on the
property, please plan accordingly. Maps of the out-of-town location will
be provided at the golf outing.
Cost:
$125 per person for any or all of the Saturday or Sunday
activities. Deduct $25
if you played in the 2009 LYSA Outing.
Deduct $25 if your payment is mailed and postmarked by June 25,
2010.
Deduct $25 if you are a member of Wilderness Ridge Golf
Course. Deduct $20 if
you are a professional golfer registered with the PGA. Deduct $25 if
a customer of the Lead sponsor, Mike Letheby at
RBC Wealth Management.
PRIZES: The Pro-Am
Foursome prizes are: 1st place, Pro in the winning team's
prize is $1,000.00 and Amateur members
of that winning team split $900 in gift certificate prizes.
2nd place,
Pro's prize is $500 and the amateurs of that team split $450 in gift certificates prizes.
3rd place, Pro prize is $250 and Amateurs of
that team split $225 in gift
certificates. 4th place, Pro prize is $125 and
amateurs of that team split
$105 in gift certificates prizes. 5th place, Pro prize
is $60 and amateurs split $45 in gift certificates. All-Am Foursome
prizes are: 1st place, split $400 of gift certificates,
2nd place, split $300 of gift certificates,
3rd place, split $200
of gift certificates, 4th place, split $100 of gift certificates, 5th place, split $60 of gift certificates.
Only those having GHIN handicaps will qualify for prizes and non-GHIN
participants of winning teams will be considered a contribution back to Lincoln
Youth Sports Association. All of the Non-GHIN Amateurs will
participate in a drawing for one of five $10 gift certificates. Valid
I.D.s & social security numbers will be required for ALL prizes.
Tax payment and reporting are the obligation of the winners.
Warning: Your registration
fee is non-refundable and in the unfortunate that you
are unable to attend the event your registration is NOT transferable
to another player. In the event that you registered after the tournament
was full, you will receive a full refund. The
tournament will be played rain or shine. The golf course management may
delay play in the event of
lightening, tornados, earth quakes, nuclear attacks or any other reason
deemed necessary for your safety. Any prizes not picked up within one
hour after the completion of play will be considered to be a non-tax
deductible donation to Lincoln Youth Sports.

Golf Committee will help with brainstorming, promoting golf

LYSA Wild Wild West Golf Tour: The premier golf tour
and social fund raising event for our members.

Friday:
Travel to Bayside Golf Course in Brule to golf with 12noon
Tee-Times (expected $47 green fees and cart.) After golf we will be heading to Golflore Lodge
in Lisco for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Saturday:
10am Tee-Time at Scottsbluff Country Club Golf Course for 18 holes,
(expected $45 green fees & $12 for cart.) Afterwards, return
to Golflore Lodge for another evening of social festivities.

Sunday:
Check out of the lodge and travel to
Wild Horse Golf Course in Gothenburg to golf then take the
journey home.
Cost of the LYSA Wild
Wild West Golf Tour:
$55 per person (plus LYSA membership.) Your fee includes lodge
fees and Friday and Saturday dinner at the spacious GolfLORE Lodge.
